Nigeria’ll be a fast-growing economy with Tinubu – Amb Ajayi.  As President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has emerged victorious at the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal, (PEPT), Nigeria will resemble some of the fastest growing economies in the world in a couple of years, a US-based Nigerian entrepreneur, Amina Temitope Ajayi, has said. Amina also known as Mama Diaspora in a statement, congratulated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on the verdict at the PEPT, saying the President would now be focused and concentrate on reviving Nigeria’s economy. NSIB begins investigation into UNA aircraft incident in Lagos.  An investigation has been launched by the Nigerian Safety Investigation Bureau (NSIB) into an incident involving a Lagos-bound aircraft. The aircraft in question is an Embraer ERJ145 with the Nationality and Registration Marks of 5N-BWY, owned by United Nigeria Airlines, UNA. Vanguard reports that the incident took place on the 7th of September, 2023, at approximately 06:33 pm local time. The aircraft, with 51 passengers and 4 crew members onboard was en-route Lagos from Abuja. However, the aircraft on landing on Runway 18R of Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Ikeja, Lagos, skidded off the runway. In a statement, Saturday, signed by the Director Public Affairs and Consumer Protection, NSIB, Tunji Oketunbi, stated that there was no injury or fatality recorded. Tension as UNA aircraft aquaplaned in Lagos airport.  Lagos bound passengers on a United Nigeria Airlines flight U5 0513, were seen terrified while disembarking the aircraft after it aquaplaned. Vanguard gathered that the aircraft with registration 5N-BWY upon landing at Murtala Mohammed Airport Lagos aquaplaned due to a downpour. Aquaplaned, also known as hydroplaned, is a condition in which standing water, causes the moving wheel of an aircraft to lose contact with the load bearing surface. The development created panic, as passengers cry for help. Tinubu’s administration to construct 1000 houses in 7 states – VP Shettima.  President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved the construction of 1,000 houses in Sokoto, Kebbi, Katsina, Zamfara, Kaduna, Niger, and Benue States as part of a broad plan by the Federal Government to address the conflict in the north, according to Vice President Kashim Shettima. Shettima who represented President Tinubu, disclosed this at the weekend in Maiduguri, Borno State during the commissioning of projects executed by the State Government in the last 100 days. According to the VP, the President has approved N50 billion to the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) to kick-start the Pulaku initiative – a non-kinetic solution to the crisis confronting the people of the northwest region.
